These are some videos that I have made with my digital video camera.
I have a Sony DCR-TRV27. I tried to edit as much of the bad words out
of these as I could, but some of them may still contain a few bad words,
so I recommend those under 16 not view them. The videos have no pornography,
grisly images, or adult themes. They are just recordings of where I have
been or what I have seen. I will be adding more videos to this collection.
These files are in Windows Media video file format (.wmv). You must have
a media player that is capable of playing the Windows Media video format
to view these videos. I recommend using VideoLAN VLC Media Player. This is an open source, free to download player that can play many types of video file formats on a variety of operating systems including Windows and Mac OSX. Click on the banner below for more information. You can also use Microsoft Windows Media Player. The best way to view these videos
on a Windows computer is to right click on the link, and then left
click on the option "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As..." in the submenu. Mac users should just download the file and watch it using the media player of preference.**PLEASE NOTE: These files are fairly large. They
will not download successfully unless you have a broadband connection. If you
dial up through your phone line, it will not work for you. I promote
the use of broadband for internet connections.

Ice Storm of February 2007(14.2 MB)
Video of the major winter storm that smashed the eastern United States on Valentine's Day 2007. Here in Montgomery Village, Maryland we received about 5 inches of sleet. Areas east of DC such as Prince Georges and Anne Arundel Counties saw heavy freezing rain, which caused widespread power outages. Other states saw blizzard conditions and extremely heavy snow. We were lucky to get mostly sleet here in Montgomery County, as freezing rain is the most destructive type of precipitation. You can view pictures of the storm at Picasa Valentines Day Ice Storm Web Album.

Video of the second major winter storm in 12 days in Montgomery County, Maryland. Instead of sleet, this time we received 5 inches of snow and a small amount of sleet and freezing rain. You can view pictures of the storm at Picasa Freak Snowstorm Web Album.
