Norfolk/Virginia Beach Camping Trip

For the Fourth of July Weekend in 2003 my friend Russell and I went camping at Virginia Beach. We took the long way, across the Chesapake Bay Bridge to the eastern shore of Maryland. Then we took US-13 all the way down the Maryland and Virginia sections of the Delmarva Peninsula to the 17.6 mile long Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel. The trip took 7 hours but was worth it to view the beauty of the southern Chesapeake Bay and the Tidewater area of Virginia. We camped at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach along the Bay. We also went into Norfolk and went on the water taxi around the harbor. Below are photos and videos of our trip.
