Cabin John Stream Valley Park Trail
The Cabin John Stream Valley Park Trail traverses 8.8 miles of southwest Montgomery County, Maryland. It begins at the end of Goya Drive in Potomac and terminates at Cabin John Local Park on MacArthur Boulevard. The trail is natural surface and cuts through Cabin John Regional Park. Although the trail runs through a mostly urban area, there are many natural features which include Cabin John Creek and the Bamboo Forest near MacArthur Boulevard. The trail provides easy access to Cabin John Regional Park and Locust Grove Nature Center. Be careful crossing major roads such as River Road and try to cross at signals.
