Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park

Biking at the C & O Canal
April 29, 2006

On a beautiful Saturday in late April, my friend Evan and I biked part of the towpath that parallels the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal. We started at Pennyfield Lock #22, and worked our way north. We ended at Rileys Lock #24 at the Seneca Creek Aqueduct and biked back to the car at Pennyfield Lock. Roundtrip about 8 miles. Below are pictures of our ride.
